Moscow's idea of setting up a global antiterrorist coalition has chances to be put into practice, Russian Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko said.

Moscow's idea of setting up a global antiterrorist coalition has chances to be put into practice, Russian Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko has said.

"I am sure that Russia's idea to set up a broad international coalition, our president's idea to set up a broad international coalition, will be materialized," said Matviyenko in an interview shown on the Rossiya-24 news television channel, after laying flowers before the French embassy in Moscow in the wake of the Nov. 13 terrorist attacks in Paris.

"The situation is so obvious today that we can't hesitate any longer," said Matviyenko.
