Heroes and villains from the Marvel, Warcraft, and DC Comics universes and other world-famous projects will gather in the city on May 21-22.
Comic Con will also feature the largest cosplay contest in Russia with a prize fund of 500,000 rubles ($7,600), the event organizers told RBTH.
Festival guests will meet with Russian and foreign science-fiction writers and will be able to participate in tournaments, board and computer games.
The show will be held at the St. Petersburg sports and concert complex, together with the largest exhibition game industry Game Expo.
