Militants have fired multiple rocket launchers upon military sites and residential neighborhoods in Aleppo, killing a child, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"Multiple rocket launchers and mortars were used in the Aleppo governorate to shell the communities of Handarat and Halasa, the city neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsood and Meydan, the al-Nayrab airport, and the grounds of an artillery college in al-Ramusi," the Russian center for the reconciliation of the opposing sides in Syria said in a news bulletin posted on the Defense Ministry website.
