Coubs of the week: Last day of school

Today many Russian pupils celebrate the last day of school
By Pavel Gazdyuk

Today many Russian pupils celebrate the last day of school. The “last bell” (or graduation day) is celebrated when all classes are finished, but final exams and the whole of life lie ahead.

It's the last day when school kids are together. They’ll miss all the stupid things they did at school.

And how they cut class.

And going out together after class.

And all those fights with teachers.

All the songs and dances.

All the bittersweet (and tasty) moments.

And their first love.

It’s a day for simply saying: "Baby, don't cry and don't you forget about me."
