Many people still live in houses which were built by their grandparents. There are two types of families: the first type consists of those who live in villages. They have a farm animals, do farming and spend 12 months out of the year in these houses. Others are those who moved to the big cities, but use houses like these as a dacha. They come to the villages during the weekend, or stay there when they have a week off from work.
