The workshop has been working under the auspices of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Nizhny Novgorod for 20 years now. And people who work for Tradition always come to work with smiles on their faces.
"You need 2 months to paint an icon like this. We start the process by preparing the board. A lot of time is also spent on priming and gilding. But every time I create an icon, it’s with great joy", says iconographer, Elena Smetanina.
