Russia and Germany cite the strengthening of the ceasefire regime in Syria, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We have discussed the Syrian issue. We pointed out that the ceasefire regime is strengthening and is generally working very successfully," he told a press conference following a meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
"We exchanged opinions on how to curb certain breaches of this regime that still occur, we talked about how to resolve humanitarian problems more effectively," the Russian minister said.
Lavrov added that Russia and Germany welcome "what is now happening in Geneva."
"We agree with the need to ensure inclusive intra-Syrian dialogue so that the delegations of the government and the entire range of the Syrian opposition, including Kurds, can be represented there," he said.
