Sinara Group, which is controlled by Russian businessman Dmitry Pumpyansky, might form a joint venture with China's CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles to build trains for the upcoming Moscow-Kazan high-speed rail (HSR) line, business daily Vedomosti reported on May 11, citing a representative of Sinara.
There are currently no details about investment in the project or stakes in the venture, the Sinara representative told the paper.
“There is no final design work for the high-speed line itself yet. The timetable and details of the project have not been determined. Delivery of trains is a part of the next stage,” he said.
