Russia, Indonesia sign defense cooperation agreement

Russia and Indonesia have signed a defense cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed after talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo in Sochi on May 18.

Details of the agreement were not disclosed by the countries.

“We have agreed to widen contacts between the defense ministries and security agencies,” Putin told reporters at a joint press conference with Widodo.
