Follow the link to learn moreA Russian Proton-M launch vehicle has put the U.S. telecommunications satellite Intelsat 31 (Intelsat DLA-2) and a Briz-M upper stage into a parking orbit, Roscosmos told Interfax on June 9.
"The upper unit consisting of an upper stage and the spacecraft separated from the third stage of the Proton-M launch vehicle at 10:20 a.m. Moscow time," a Roscosmos spokesperson said.
The Proton-M coupled with the upper stage and carrying the satellite lifted off from the Baikonur space center at 10:10 a.m. Moscow time on June 9.
It was reported earlier that the launch had been postponed from June 8 to June 9 due to technical issues.
