Follow the link to learn moreThe leaders of the BRICS countries in the meeting in Antalya adopted a statement in which they spoke against the politicization of economic relations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"I will once again stress the political evaluations contained in this statement. They are related to negative issues such as the politicization of economic relations and the use of unilateral economic sanctions against international law," Lavrov said at an informal meeting between the leaders of the BRICS countries in Antalya on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
"It was stated that such actions harm the international economic and financial system and should be stopped," the minister said.
