Photojournalists from the Kremlin press pool have collaborated to produce a book with more than 300 images taken during Putin's eight years as President.
"Putin can always surprise you, whether as a politician or an ordinary person," says one of the photographers. "He never played to the gallery."
The album comes with two discs containing 24,000 photos and other multimedia content.
