OSCE officials hail diversity in Russian media

OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mjatovic said the Russian media have become much more diverse recently.

At a press conference in the Interfax central office on Wednesday, Mjatovic said she is happy about the current diversity in the Russian media and the presence of the opposition media in the country. Mjatovic also hailed the creation of public television in Russia, which is planned for 2013.
