Defense Ministry to create its own robot equipment center

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has ordered the creation of a Defense Ministry robot equipment center, the defense minister's press secretary Darya Zatulina told Interfax on Friday.

"Training and research work will take place in the center, instructors will work there, and the center will have its own testing ground," she said.

On Monday, Defense Ministry specialists will begin trial operation of all-terrain vehicles and mine destruction equipment received from factories manufacturing equipment for the Emergency Situations Ministry
