The Philippines is looking to increase exports of tuna and processed fish products to Russia, the Business Mirror said, citing the country’s Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
The bureau is pushing for a bilateral trade agreement with Russia, the website said, adding that Russian representatives will visit the Philippines to inspect local factories and facilities.
A series of agreements will be signed between Russia and the Philippines when Vladimir Putin visits Manila for the APEC 2015 Summit in Manila.
