Rusagro exports Primorye corn to Japan

Rusagro, a major Russian agricultural holding, has launched exports of corn from the Primorye Territory to Japan, Vladivostok-based business newspaper Zolotoi Rog reported on Jan. 20.

Ten thousand tons of corn were sent to Japan in January 2016.

Rusagro also plans to export corn to China, according to the report.

Rusagro, which has a subsidiary in the Russian Far East, announced plans to export corn to the Asia-Pacific at the East Economic Forum in Vladivostok in September 2015.
