Russia has won the right to export grain and grain products to Vietnam, Russian food safety watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor said in a statement on Feb. 25.

Russia has been included in the register of countries cleared to export plant crops to Vietnam by the Vietnamese Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry's National Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department (NAFIQAD), in response to a request from Rosselkhoznadzor.

Plant products, including grain and products from grain, cannot be exported to Vietnam until they are certified by NAFIQAD as meeting Vietnam's food safety standards.
