Indian companies eye larger stake in Vankorneft

Indian companies may increase the size of the stake in a deal to purchase Vankorneft shares, Indian Ambassador to Russia Pankaj Saran said on March 30.

Talks are currently underway on the purchase of a 19-percent stake in Vankorneft. An increase in the size of the deal is also being discussed, Saran told Rossiya 24 television.
