Blini, crafts, festive folk tunes: we are ready for spring! The tradition of Maslenitsa dates back to pagan times, when Russian folk would bid farewell to winter and welcome spring. A true family occasion, this event will see performances of traditional songs and dance, games and competitions, an arts and crafts fair, but best of all, there will be an authentic Russian marketplace where you can gorge yourselveson beef stroganoff, beetroot soup and of course, plenty of pancakes. It doesn't matter whether you're Russian or not, everyone is welcome. So raise your glass of vodka and join in with a toast to warmer weather.
