Rosoboronexport has started marketing its robotic devices: Uran-6, a demining robot; Uran-9, a combat robot; and Uran-14, a firefighting robot, the company delegation head, Valery Varlamov, told reporters at the SOFEX-2016 exhibition in Amman.

"A passport for the export version of the Uran-6 robot already exists, and has been agreed upon with the Russian Defense Ministry," Varlamov said.

The device's advancement on the global market will be helped by its having been tested in real combat, he said. "It is with the help of such devices, that our bomb disposal experts demined 3,000 sites in ancient Palmyra [Syria]," he recalled.
