Investigative Committee launches probe of Bloodhound Gang member's action

Investigators from the Investigative Committee of Russia have started checking reports of an instance of the desecration of the Russian flag by rock musicians from the United States; requests of legal assistance will be sent to the U.S. and Ukraine, the press center of the committee says.

"Even though the findings of an Interior Ministry probe of the instance of the desecration of the Russian flag by a member of the Bloodhound Gang band have not been received from the prosecutor's office yet, considering the cynical nature of the offense demonstrating apparent disrespect for the Russian state, the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia has organized a procedural examination of the fact," a report of the Investigative Committee received by Interfax on Monday says.
