"The accident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Moscow time near the town of Tommot. A Yakovlev Yak-52 light trainer crashed to the ground for an unidentified reason. Three people were injured and one died," a ministry spokesman said.
At the ministry's department in Yakutia Interfax was told that during a demonstration flight at Bank of Joy festival the plane was making a loop but failed to complete it, tipped the Aldan River and crashed on the ground. Two people on the ground were injured - a man and a woman.
There were two people aboard one of whom died. The other survived with injuries.
