Follow the link to learn moreCompanies from 20 states have confirmed their participation in the 9th International Arms Show, Russia Arms EXPO 2013 (RAE), in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk region, on September 25-28, and another 19 have expressed their wish to participate, the exhibition organizing committee reported.
Uralvagonzavod will build a new helicopter pad for simultaneous accommodation of three helicopters near the Staratel testing range. A mobile weather station and an air traffic control post will be also deployed there.
Besides, Uralvagonzavod will repair buildings on the range and build some new facilities for RAE.

The Staratel range is over 400,000 square meters in size. It can accommodate large amounts of hardware and provide the maximum comfortable environment for the exhibitors. RAE 2013 will not only display armaments but will also present simulations of combat operations of various divisions of the armed forces, the report said.
Russia Arms EXPO 2013, the master organizer of which is Uralvagonzavod, will be held at the Nizhny Tagil state demonstration and exhibition center of armaments and military hardware of the Nizhny Tagil Metal Testing Institute.
The four-day show will present the latest achievements of the Russian defense sector and the best foreign products. In all, there will be 400 exhibitors from 50 states. RAE 2013 will feature the priority projects, achievements and the potential of Russian and foreign defense plants.
