"A total of 170,442 people have been affected in the three districts that were hit hardest [by the floods] - the Khabarovsk Territory, the Amur region and the Jewish Autonomous District. Of them, 32,649 remain evacuated. It is the largest number of people affected by floods ever recorded [in Russia]," Trutnev said at a session of the governmental commission for the Far East's socioeconomic development on Thursday.
As many as 12,643 houses, 19,880 household plots and more than 400 key social sector facilities were damaged, he said.
