Ukraine promises constitutional reform - Kerry

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry cited Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchytsya as making repeated assurances during a meeting in Geneva on Thursday between Ukraine, Russia, the European Union and the United States that the Ukrainian government would launch constitutional reform.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry cited Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchytsya as making repeated assurances during a meeting in Geneva on Thursday between Ukraine, Russia, the European Union and the United States that the Ukrainian government would launch constitutional reform.

Kerry told a news conference in the Swiss city that Deshchytsya had promised several times that the Kiev government would organize an inclusive and transparent a constitutional reform process.

Kerry thanked Deshchytsya and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov for their openness to dialogue.
