Follow the link to learn moreThe Kiev city administration has proposed that the participants in the recent Geneva consultations on the situation in Ukraine and members of the OSCE monitoring mission gather for a meeting at the city administration within the next two days, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
"The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry welcomes the Kiev city state administration's proposal on holding another traditional meeting within the coming days between the signatories to the Geneva agreements, particularly Ukraine, the U.S., the EU and the Russian Federation, and representatives of the OSCE special monitoring mission and is willing to provide assistance in its organization," the ministry said.
This agreement was reached at a Friday meeting between Bohdan Dubas, the first deputy head of the Kiev city administration, and members of the OSCE mission, during which the latter had the opportunity to examine the administration building at 36 Khreshchatyk Street, which is currently undergoing restoration and renovation.
Protesters occupied the Kiev city administration building on December 1, 2013.
Yulia Torhovets, a spokesperson for the Kiev city administration head, said on April 24, 2014 that activists would fully vacate the building by the end of the week.
