Two explosions rock railway bridge in Donetsk region

A railway bridge in the Donetsk region, eastern Ukraine, was damaged as a result of two explosions early on Friday morning.

 A railway bridge in the Donetsk region, eastern Ukraine, was damaged as a result of two explosions early on Friday morning.

A railway spokesman said that the blasts partially damaged a pillar, one bridge span, ten railway sleepers and 12 meters of the track.

Train services have been suspended. Emergency service specialists are working at the site.

The Lugansk-Moscow passenger train No. 11/12 usually uses this railway section.

Explosions were reported at the Kondrashevska Nova-Horodniy and Krasnozerovka-Horodniy sections of the same railroad on June 24.
