A Russian Emergency Situations Ministry convoy has brought humanitarian aid to Donetsk.

Ten trucks carrying over 50 tonnes of medicines and fuel have successfully reached Donetsk, deputy head of the ministry's National Crisis Management Center Oleg Voronov told Interfax.

He said a similar aid shipment had arrived in Lugansk.

"Ten trucks have arrived in Lugansk and delivered over 50 tonnes of cargo - medicines and fuel. The cargo is being unloaded," he said.
