The bill, submitted by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko last week, was supported by 303 MPs.
President Petro Poroshenko on Saturday insisted that parliament give immediate consideration to a draft law to scrap Ukraine's nonaligned status.
"I have no doubt the decision on this matter will be positive," Poroshenko, who had introduced the bill to the legislature, said in addressing parliamentary chairman Volodymyr Groisman during a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.
