"The Russian Energy Ministry reports the conclusion of agreements between Inter RAO UES and Ukrinterenergo on exports of electricity from Russia's unified energy system to Ukraine's. The one-year contract enters force on December 30, 2014 and provides for delivery of up to 1,500 megawatts," an Energy Ministry spokesman reported, citing Novak.
"In parallel, in order to ensure reliable and uninterrupted supplies of electricity to Crimea, a second agreement between Inter RAO subsidiary Center for Payment Settlements (TsOR) and Ukrinterenergo has been signed," Novak said.
