9 Kamov helicopters delivered to China

The Ka-32A11BC helicopters will be used by commercial companies as well as the Chinese Public Security Ministry.

China has taken delivery of nine Ka-32A11BC helicopters, Russian Helicopters said on Thursday, August 27.

“Nine Ka-32A11BC helicopters have been delivered to Chinese commercial and state operators,” Russian Helicopters Chief Executive Alexander Mikheev said in a press note. “These helicopters will be operated by the city of Ordos’ Main Directorate of Public Security, Shanghai Public Security Directorate, and a number of commercial companies. China’s State Oceanic Administration also operates the Ka-32A11BC.”

The Ka-32A11BC is designed to carry out specialised search and rescue operations and is used in fire-fighting missions, as well as the evacuation of the sick and injured.
