Follow the link to learn moreThis year has seen a significant rise in demand for Russian weapons, Rosoboronexport chief Anatoly Isaikin said live on Rossiya-24 television on Oct. 2.
"This year we are seeing a significant rise in orders on various types of weapons. To date, we have received orders in the region of $18 billion. Today we have an order book in the region of $45 billion," he said.
"I would not say the past year was record-breaking for us. It was stable. We have a stable level of arms supplies, somewhere at the level of $12-13 billion. The year is not over yet. We still have two months ahead. And the last two months are normally the most intensive in working with foreign customers," Isaikin said.
