Follow the link to learn moreJoint working groups of the Russian Embassy to Cairo, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry and the Federal Agency for Tourism have been deployed to the airports of the Egyptian resort towns of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh to assist Russian tourists departing home, says a report published on the Russian Foreign Ministry website on Nov. 8.

The Federal Agency for Tourism has also formed working commissions to address legal, transportation and information aspects of the return of Russian tourists from Egypt.
According to the Agency, about 80,000 Russian tourists are on vacation in Egypt at the moment.
