Lavrov, Steinmeier discuss Syria, implementation of Minsk agreements

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier had a telephone conversation initiated by Germany on Nov. 10, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.

"The foreign policy chiefs discussed a number of relevant international problems, including the situation surrounding Syria and the implementation of the Minsk agreements on Ukraine in the context of the outcomes of the ministerial meeting in the Normandy format in Berlin on November 6," the ministry said.
