Bodies of 6 Russians killed in terror attack in Mali transported home

The bodies of six employees of the Volga-Dnepr airline killed in a terror attack on a hotel in the capital city of Mali, on Nov. 20, were brought to Ulyanovsk on Nov. 29, a representative of the regional law enforcement authorities told Interfax.

"The bodies will be taken to the regional forensic medical bureau. Detectives, forensic specialists and families of the deceased will come there [to the bureau] at 6 a.m. There will be an identification procedure at first and then a forensic medical examination will be conducted within the framework of a criminal inquiry into the hostage taking incident and aggravated murder," he said.

In turn, press secretary of the Ulyanovsk region governor Alexandra Mamayeva told Interfax that Ulyanovsk Region Governor Sergei Morozov came to the airport to meet the plane which delivered the bodies of the killed compatriots.
