The Ukrainian military launched some thirty mines of the northern and western outskirts of Donetsk last night, the Donetsk News Agency has reported, citing the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed DPR.

"Around 10:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m., the Ukrainian military opened fire on the villages of Alexandrovka in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and Zhabichevo, north of the capital. The outskirts of the Volvo Center also came under fire," the report says.

According to the agency, the enemy opened fire from his positions in Maryinka and Piski using 82 mm caliber mortars, grenade-launchers and firearms. Almost thirty mines were launched on the outskirts of the city.
