Russia’s anti-terrorist operation in Syria is in line with international law, and China has always supported it, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying was cited by TASS as saying.
“We have always supported the efforts of various countries, including Russia, to ensure international security,” Chunying said, according to the report. “As for Russia’s strikes against terrorist organizations in Syria, we have also expressed our support previously and noted that Russia carried out the fight against terrorist organizations in Syria at the invitation of the government of this country.”
China’s stance on the war against international terror was in harmony with the Russian approach, Chunying said, according to the report.
