An F-1 grenade exploded at a bus stop in central Moscow on Dec. 7 evening, head of the press service of the Moscow main police directorate Andrei Galiakberov told Interfax.
"During the investigation into a criminal case opened under an article on hooliganism Moscow police experts ascertained that an F-1 grenade exploded near a bus stop in Pokrovka Street," Galiakberov said.
Required investigative actions and operational search measures are being conducted in the criminal case, wounded people and possible eyewitnesses of the incident are being interrogated, he said.
It was previously reported that the number of those injured in the blast at a bus stop in Pokrovka Street in central Moscow had risen to five people; three of them are being treated at hospitals.
