The Russian Aerospace Forces have never bombed civilian facilities since the beginning of the operation in Syria, Colonel-General Viktor Bondarev, commander-in-chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces, said.

"I want to tell you with honor and dignity that my pilots have never missed their targets during their stay there [in Syria], they have never bombed prohibited facilities, so-called sensitive places - schools, hospitals, mosques," Bondarev said on Rossiya 24 television (VGTRK).

He reiterated that the air operation plan was thoroughly thought-out. "We trained pilots, we established interaction with the Syrian administration, we verified locations, we verified the areas where we can work and areas where we should work very carefully," Bondarev said.
