Follow the link to learn moreAn official of the defense attache's office at the U.S. Embassy to Moscow was invited to the Russian Defense Ministry on February 23, the Russian defense agency said.
"In line with the instructions given by the presidents of Russia and the United States following their telephone conversation on February 22, the Russian contact data of the hotline (the main and backup ones) was handed over to the Americans, as the Joint Statement by Russia and the U.S. as the co-chairs of the International Syria Support Group on the cessation of hostilities in Syria also envisaged," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"We expect the similar contact information from the U.S. side soon," the Russian defense agency also said.
