"A focal point was the Syria issue, in particular, the discussion of initiatives and proposals made in the joint statement of Russia and the United States on the cessation of hostilities in Syria," the report said.
"They noted the importance of further joint work of Russia and Iran on Syrian settlement issues, including the continuation of the resolute fight against ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations from the sanctions list of the UN Security Council," the Kremlin press service said.
