Follow the link to learn moreRussian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry have discussed the implementation of the agreement on the cessation of hostilities in Syria on the phone, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Feb. 29.
"The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the fulfillment of the agreement on the cessation of hostilities on Syrian land and confirmed the importance of close coordination in the military field between our countries, as the cochairs of the International Syria Support Group (ISSG)," the ministry said in a commentary posted on Facebook.
"The minister and the state secretary declared the inadmissibility of stove-piping provocative reports about the non-compliance with the truce in the media," the ministry said.
