The Kremlin has familiarized itself with U.S. President Barack Obama's interview with The Atlantic, in which Obama gives his take on Russian President Vladimir Putin, and has taken note of it, but there has been no response to the U.S. president's remarks, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.
"Indeed, we have familiarized ourselves with this interview and have taken note of everything that was said," Peskov told reporters on March 11.
"At this point, I cannot speak about any concrete response from the president. Certainly, in media reviews the president is briefed on the main points of such interviews. Certainly, Putin is also briefed on remarks made by the U.S. president," he added.
In the interview, the U.S. leader told that Putin was "scrupulously polite, very frank" and "not completely stupid," stating that their talks have always been "very businesslike."
