Russia issues another travel alert for Turkey amid terror attack threat

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeated its recommendation that Russians abstain from visiting Turkey due to the high level of the terrorist threat.

"We deem it necessary to remind about the warning of the Russian Foreign Ministry and Rosturizm: Russian citizens should abstain from visiting Turkey due to the high level of the terrorist threat," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a commentary posted on the ministry website.

"We recommend that those who are already staying in the territory of that country avoid crowded places, including tourist attractions and recreation sites, various types of rallies and demonstrations and other events of this kind," she said.
