Rosatom opens office in Dubai

Office to serve as Middle East, North Africa headquarters.

Rosatom, Russia's state nuclear corporation has opened an office in Dubai that will become its headquarters for the Middle East and North Africa.

“Having begun with cooperation in the area of building research reactors in the 1960s, today we are implementing projects in the region to supply isotope products, natural uranium and enriched uranium products, projects to handle radioactive waste, and are also implementing large-scale projects such as construction of nuclear power plants,” Alexander Merten, President of Rosatom International Network, said in a statement.
