China mulls moving some business to Russian Far East – ministry

China is considering moving some of its businesses to Russia's Far East, the Russian Far East Development Ministry said.

The idea was discussed during the recent visit of the ministry's head Alexandr Galushka to Beijing, The Moscow Times reported.

China suggested relocating enterprises in 12 key sectors of the economy, including metallurgy, textiles, telecommunications and agriculture, according to the report.
