Russia registers set of reagents to diagnose Zika virus

The Russian healthcare watchdog Roszdravnadzor has registered a set of chemical reagents to diagnose Zika virus, the agency told Interfax.

"The medical product has been registered in Russian territory in a due procedure and has been included in the register of medical products," it said.

The set includes "reagents for the qualitative measurement of Zika virus RNA in a biological material using the polymerase chain reaction method."
