Russia and Vietnam have signed a new agreement to ensure the continuous operation of their joint venture oil company Vietsovpetro.

Russian Deputy Energy Minister Yury Sentyurin and Vietnamese Industry and Trade Minister Tran Tuan Anh signed intergovernmental documents in Hanoi on April 20 to expand cooperation between Zarubezhneft and PetroVietnam, the parent companies of Vietsovpetro.
