Moscow positively assesses the interaction with the United States in fighting terrorism in Syria and is ready for closer cooperation, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at the Fifth Moscow Conference on International Security.
"On the whole, we positively assess our interaction with the United States in Syria. Bilateral agreements on the prevention of air incidents are working, and military entities supervising reconciliation of the sides are interacting," Shoigu said.
"Our countries are ought to cooperate more closely in the fight against international terrorism. We are ready for that, and the ball is in Washington's court," he said.
