Follow the link to learn moreRussian President Vladimir Putin has praised the performance of precision weapons and latest aircraft systems used by the Russian armed forces in Syria.
"The performance of the latest aircraft systems, such as the Su-30SM, Su-34, Su-35 planes, and also the Mi-28 and Ka-52 helicopters, deserves the highest possible praise. Precision munitions and guided missiles have confirmed their performance objectives," Putin said at a meeting dealing with the development of the national defense industry.
"The air-launched and sea-launched long-range precision weapons were used in combat conditions in fighting terrorists in the Syrian Arab Republic for the first time," Putin said.
